Redemption

Redemption, the upscale Italian fashion line owned by Gabriele Moratti, Daniele Sirtori, and Vanni Laghi, recognized the need for a flagship store in New York. For this sustainable brand with its European identity and Rock n’ Roll sensibility, Soho proved to be the ideal location. Redemption engaged members of our team to secure a storefront on Wooster Street with neighbors such as Chanel, Balmain, Ted Baker, and Ray-Ban. The retail space of this historic cast-iron building was previously occupied by Icebreaker, whose lease ended when it was purchased by VF Corp.

For its first US store, Redemption signed a long-term deal for 5,000 square feet at 102 Wooster Street between Spring and Prince streets. Opening its doors in 2019, the store has soaring ceilings and expansive marble floors with its interiors designed by architecture firm, Gensler, and Italian filmmaker, Luca Guadagnino. Made to feel like a lounge room with bespoke furniture, Guadagnino was inspired by vintage photos from the 1970s of the Rolling Stones recording an album in the Cote D’Azur.
